Real Estate Projects

Accommodation Facilities for Students and Interns

The project involves constructing new accommodation facilities for a teaching and research hospital that hosts local and foreign interns, elective students, and researchers. The hospital is partnering with Umenyeni Co Ltd to build accommodation facilities with a capacity of up to 1000 students and 1000 interns. Additionally, a hotel with a capacity of 50-100 beds will be constructed. The aim of this project is to provide comfortable and modern accommodation for those working and studying at the hospital. The estimated cost of the project is USD 4.7 million.

A Mixed-Use Commercial Complex in Dar es Salaam

This project aims to construct a modern mixed-use commercial complex on a 3,381 square meter plot of land in the city of Dar es Salaam. The multi-story building will comprise of corporate offices, retail shops, and residential apartments. Currently, the project is in the preparation stage and will be delivered under a BOT model. The estimated cost of the project is USD 3 million.

Parking Tower

This project involves constructing one of the two planned parking towers at a highly populated hospital in the city of Dar es Salaam. The parking tower will have the capacity to accommodate 750 cars at a time and aims to address the acute congestion of vehicles on the hospital campus. The estimated cost of the project is USD 2-3 million.

Transport and Logistics

Umenyeni Investment Limited is taking steps to establish itself as a leading end-to-end logistics company in the East African Indian Ocean region. As part of this effort, the company is venturing into the mari- time cargo shipping business and is in the process of acquiring a fleet of specialized cargo vessels.

The immediate plan is to provide maritime transportation services between the ports of Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, with further expansion to other local and regional destinations such as Pemba, Tanga, and Mtwara ports in Tanzania, Moroni in Comoros, and Mombasa in Kenya. The company's ultimate goal is to establish a strong foothold in the maritime industry and offer top-notch logistics services to customers.
